Protecting Pets in Domestic Violence Crisis

Mar 28, 2013

You helped 6 pets come home in 2012!

Because of your generosity, six families arrived back home to the USA with their beloved pets. Four dogs and two cats.

Pets are a lifeline to donestic violence victims and especially to children who are abused. A pet gives them unconditional love in a violent home and can make all of the difference in a child's resilience and long term affects of abuse.

Here is a quote from someone you helped: "We can't believe we made it home with Bugsy. The children would not leave without him and you made it possible. We can't thank you enough for all you have done for us. Bugsy is happy with a backyard to play in and every day he is full of love, not cowering in a corner afraid.."

Thank you for protecting pets!
