The story is about an Organization which helped Lunyinya Primary School and the entire Lunyinya community. Lunyinya Primary school made an application to the organization called community Development Trust Fund (CDTF) requesting for a funding to aid in construction of classrooms as the existing ones were inadequate for the eight hundred and sixety pupils. The organization responded by visiting the school to assess what was on the ground. It had earlier on asked the school to invite all parents, local leaders, educational officers, provincial Adminstration and other stakeholders to be on the centre for sensilisation purpose. After the exercise, the school qualified for a grant of 3.4 milion shillings to facilitate the construction of six standard classrooms, eighteen pit latrines, urinal pit, erest lightening arrestors on all buildings, purchase and installation of two large water tanks of five thousand litres each to help in harnessing of drinking water for the learners. The parents were to contribute 10% of the total cost of the whole project. They were able to do it by giving voluntary services like digging the foundation, provision of water,curing the walls during construction, extraction of sand and provision of any locally available material for construction process. All people concerned carried out their duties committedly and in a duration of one year the whole project was complete. The school has decent spacious classrooms, adequate and qualitative pit latrines and learners are able to get education of the school has also improved tremendiously.
