This project directly targets rural women leaders 28 members listening clubs (including 14 trainers and 14 rural producers) and 42 local chiefs (at 6 per axis including two MPs, a customary chief, a chief administrative and politico two religious leaders ).

Since Friday, May 11, 28 rural women leaders listening club members come from seven territories of South Kivu province will be equipped on the mobilization and advocacy for greater participation of women in democracy and good governance.

For AFEM SK, the three previous projects have helped improve the quality and quantity of rural women's knowledge about their rights, democracy, good governance and gender. However, some weaknesses have been identified including the lack of control techniques for these rural women club members listening to restore or develop other peoples. The major weakness is due to low coverage of facts tending to promote or undermine democracy and good governance. This fosters impunity because many violations are silent. Dialogue between rural women and local authorities also suffer from the lack of tool that must serve as a guide and reference for the monitoring of their claims.
It is to this end that AFEM once organize training for their benefit for a few key objectives:
The improvement in quality and quantity of information available on democracy, good governance and gender within the reach of rural women in the axes of Kabare, Kalehe, Walungu, Kamituga, Uvira and Fizi Idjwi

Reducing gender-based violence in communities in the areas of Kabare, Kalehe, Walungu, Kamituga, Uvira and Fizi Idjwi.

The improvement actions of rural women club members to listen as actors of democracy and good governance in the axes of Kabare, Kalehe, Walungu, Kamituga, Uvira and Fizi Idjwi.

The increasing number of rural women club members listening in spaces customary administrative and political decision-making in the areas of Kabare, Kalehe, Walungu, Kamituga, Uvira and Fizi Idjwi on democracy, good governance, Gender and HIV / AIDS.

These projects have also helped open spaces for dialogue between rural women and local political and administrative customary. This made for rural women club members to listen to the interlocutors of local authorities about their rights and other issues related to local governance.

The radio productions (magazines, participatory programs, educational spots) in the context of these previous projects have contributed to the reduction of prejudice and stereotypes about women's participation in the management of public affairs and positive image of women in communities. Also, women in general and rural women members listening clubs in particular have they become aware of their rights and duties and gained new knowledge about responsible citizenship. Another success of the previous project is to have enabled the extension of the nuclei listening clubs, this has contributed to improving the visibility of geographic cations and contribution of AFEM-SK  to community development in South Kivu.
