Pamela Angwech - Executive Director, GWED-G

Pamela is a native of Gulu, Uganda, and worked for the World Food Programme during the Ugandan civil war. As an aid worker, she encountered the issues that women were struggling with, and decided to form a support group for women suffering from gender-based violence, neglect, and rape. Pamela in turn founded GWED-G, which now works in health, development, human rights, and economic empowerment.
