Another Round of Professional Development Program!

I hope this email finds everyone in the best of health and spirits.

I am happy to report to all of you that we recently completed another round of professional development training to our beneficiaries. Investing in the growth and capacity of young professionals is key to empowering them, and strengthening their confidence in the job market and workforce, which is why we value our professional development program---as it aims to help recent university graduates obtain practical knowledge and skills that will help them in their job-hunting efforts and better equip them for the work environment.

Enclosed is a training completion report prepared by Ritaj for Managerial Solutions, the company who conducted the training, which highlights in detail information about the training, i.e. duration, participants, content, session briefs, and other valuable details.

Also enclosed for your review are testimonies given by many participants regarding the training they received; and we are delighted to share with you all the great feedback!

Until next time!

Happy New Year! Some Updates on our Program

Happy New Year to all! May the New Year bless you with all the happiness, prosperity and good health!

We wanted to take a moment to share with you some recent developments with regards to our Professional Development program in the West Bank. Although our next round of professional development training is scheduled to take place this March, and we are still in the implementation stages, we wanted to keep you informed of what updates have taken place on ground.

We have in fact identified a professional training institution, which we plan to retain to conduct the training to the beneficiaries of our program, i.e. to Palestinian recent university graduates. The company is called Ritaj for Managerial Solutions, and they are located in Ramallah, Palestine.  The training is expected to total 29 hours. Below are the subjects in which we have requested for Ritaj to provide training to recent university graduates, because we believe such skills are both necessary and beneficial in both the job market and workplace.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Time management
  • Computer Skills
  • Coaching skills and workplace environment
  • CV writing and interview skills
  • Business writing skills
  • Leadership
  • Presentation skills
Additionally, as mentioned in the previous report, we are also looking to retain the services of a company called Berlitz, A Global Education Company, in providing training to Palestinian recent university graduates in Business Communication Skills and Global Leadership Training.  And, as indicated, our participants however, must have at least a basic level of English understanding, and must pass an English proficiency test to receive training.

We are currently in the process of working towards identifying those recent university graduates that will be participants of the upcoming professional development training scheduled for this March; and, by mid February, we are expecting to have the names of all the individuals.  As well as, around the same time frame, we will be requiring those same individuals that we aim to have participate in the professional development training to take the above mentioned English proficiency test to determine if they are eligible to receive the training by Berlitz.

We are expecting that our next project report will be due sometime in April; therefore, by then, we would have completed our upcoming round of professional development classes, and will be able to have more information to share with you, such as:
  • A description of the proposed topics listed above, which will give you details on the type of information taught
  • Some pictures of the professional development training, as well as
  • Provide you with some testimonies from some participants with respect to the training they received.

Warm regards!

We wanted to take this opportunity to share with you recent developments/activities for our Professional Development program, which as you know, aims to help recent university graduates obtain practical knowledge and skills that will help them in their job-hunting efforts and better equip them for the work environment.

One new update is that we are currently talking with a company called Berlitz, A Global Education Company. We are very excited about this potential collaboration because Berlitz is a very reputable and highly regarded institution, which will greatly benefit our young professionals and better equip them for success.  We are looking to retain their services in providing training to Palestinian recent university graduates in Business Communication Skills and Global Leadership Training.  Our participants however, must have at least a basic level of English understanding, and must pass an English proficiency test to receive training, which we are currently working towards administering to our participants.

Additionally, we are looking to partner with a company called Ritaj for Managerial Solutions to conduct our next professional development training. We concentrate on those subjects, which we believe will offer Palestinian recent university graduates with essential and practical skills aimed to help them in their employment efforts and to better equip them for the professional world.
