Pietro Paolinelli, aka Rupa, moved to Vrindavan, India from Italy in 1990, and established Food for Life Vrindavan (FFLV). In 2000, with the help of volunteers and donors, FFLV opened the first of three Sandipani Muni Schools, which now enroll some 1400 students. Paolinelli provides the vision for and has broad oversight of FFLV's many projects, and is the organization's chief fundraiser.
