Prevent Child Marriage, Educate 150 Girls in India

Here girls compete in a race during sports day on the field adjacent to their school. Outside of SMS, it's rare for girls to engage an athletics, much less competition.

Unlike peers in traditional public schools, or even more affluent private schools, girls at SMS can participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, which teach them about the value of practice and discipline, give them opportunities to express themselves and develop self-confidence. These girls are practicing Odissi, a classical Indian Dance form, for an upcoming performance.

Here girls conclude a beautiful dance performance, wearing costumes made out of donated saris.by school staff and volunteers.
