Interfaith Neighbors continues to help families in need to stay in their homes. This past month, Interfaith Neighbors helped a single mother of three who recently suffered a massive heart attack and needed surgery. She is doing well and hopes to return to work shortly. Interfaith Neighbors assisted with her back rent so the family could maintain their housing.
Recently, we helped a grandmother who had to take custody of her two grandchildren, a seven year old and adevelopmentally disabled teenager. The grandmother works part time as a home health aide. It was necessary for her to relocate the children from their present environment. Interfaith Neighbors provided rental assistance to make this move possible.
These are just a few of the stories we hear every day of people struggling to make ends meet and take care of their families. We hope you will continue to support homeless families in Monmouth County!
