Habari Zenu! (Greetings!) from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where Industrial Revelation's two-woman team is happy to take a few minutes from our busy work to give you an update on the wonderful things we are achieving here. Our dream for Tanzanian children to access quality nutritional foods that can save their lives is on the horizon!
On the factory side, all of the ingredients for Plumpy'nut® have been sourced, and over half of them are from right here in Tanzania. Two men from our Tanzanian factory team are currently in France, being trained in production and engineering so they are ready to work the highly technical machines when they are installed. And the factory building itself is 75% complete.
Don't worry, we have not left our focus on the prevention of malnutrition behind. After a first round of research studies, which Industrial Revelation organized, managed and led on the ground, we now have enough information for the research and development team to create a preventative product, based on Nutributter®, that will be specifically for the Tanzanian need. That product will also be launched later this year.
There is still much work to do. A third staff member from the Tanzanian factory will soon join her colleagues for training in international quality standards. And we still have lots of work ensuring that public and private delivery systems will be well established to get these products to the kids who need them the most.
So we thank you for your continued support as we see this exciting project through.
The energy here is great— we are creating jobs and saving lives! We encourage you to stay up-to-date by checking the staff field diary on our website.
Asanteni sana (Thank you all very much!)
Judith and Noel
