Map of THE BEST FOOTBALLER This may sound fantastic.It is truly the fantic story of one of the world's greatset soccer players,Edson Arantes do Nascimento,populry known as pele pele was the world's soccer giant of the 1960s and 1970s. Whenever he played football,pele electrified crowds with his daring with either the left or right foot or head.This great speed and balance and ability to control the ball caused night moves to other players. Pele made his country -Brazil --the soccer king by leading his team to win three world cup tournaments.During his time a footballer,pele scored 1,2&3 goals in 1,3&3, football matches to prevent other countries from poaching him,his country declered him a national treasure. Planning Our Response To Hiv/aids

Map of Planning our response to HIV/AIDS The report described the workshop centers as well as the result of the discussion.The people who visited Kenya showed their experience attending participated in identifying the changes and the project was introduced(assessment,planning,action,monitoring and reporting)The workshop was very participatory and rich exchange occurred among the attendees One of the most interesting section of the report is responding to the pademics in which participants reflected on the values of working with the communities.the challenges of using the community based model for programming of working with peer groups. A Timely Initiative For The Children's Devt

Map of A TIMELY INITIATIVE FOR THE CHILDREN'S DEVT From MISSION TO THE FATHERLESS i wish to uphold effort of child friendly action players that come in hardy to help us. The work of raising up children is eroneous and needs combined efforts especially from thos ewith expertise and experience. i wish to be specific in stating that a body tasked with the idea to mould role models and inspire them to excellence in Kakamenga has done the right action. Their input to children from our centre has not only led to improved character in the two children they recruited but the impact has proceeded down to others in our center.All the usher children cry that they want also to join the two. The impact too to the community has been encouraging. They arrange for tours, Seminars from which our children greatly get empowered into growth and advancement. Read more.

Leading Responsible Lives

Map of Leading Responsible Lives Looking for a way to change the youth and make them live responsible lives has a problem as they are too resistable to change. However, I came with a new strategy that I think really worked in my area. During last December holidays, I held a soccer tournament which involved both the boys and girls. As a way of passing accross the message about HIV/AIDs I decided the theme of the tournament to be'HIV/AIDS control infront' and 'Behaviour change' thechange.After all the participants and through this we could hold brief meeting. An Enriching Approach For The Less Fortunate

Map of AN ENRICHING APPROACH FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE Some organizations are moved with the passion to see a community of healthy people who overcome their obstacles and challenges especially on humanitarian perspective. The compassion programme has for some time been running a supportive project in several sections of Kenya. In Amalemba and Lurambi for instance they have been running a feeding program for the less fortunate children. This goes in line with provision of knowledge and skills usually on Saturdays. The outcome has been largely remarkable with a number of children being beneficiaries. Read more.

Enlightening Youth While Having Fun

Map of Enlightening youth while having fun An organisation by the title UNAIDS held a sport tournament during last December holidays. the tournament involved both girls and boys . the theme of the competition was 'AIDS' is 'REAL'. as the youth did participate in the games , they also learnt more about HIV/AIDS: its effect and its consequences . they were in the process encourages to abstain from sex until marriage or if otherwise use protection in the name of condoms. this really fun since they were having a double treat. as they were having fun in participating in the games, they alongside got informed more on the HIV/Aids. At the end of the whole practise it was actually noted that a vibrant group had been nurtured and their destiny shaped. it was really encouraging to see the happen. Read more.

A Caring Society

Map of A caring society Parents play a bigger role i molding their children in character and behavior.The school acts as a role model.Swahili saying,goes" mwana akibebwa hutazama kisogo cha mamaye".Many parents have relegated the role of bringing up their children to maids.This has brought a conflict of interest in the house.The kids tend to give more of their love to the maids. A maid took up the responsibility of bringing up the kids of Mr X.Mrs x was never at home when she was needed,and the maid served the husband and took care of the kids. One day the husband decided to make the maid the housewife.In time they had a baby boy,The wife became unruly and burnt the maid with hot water.Members of society rescued her,advised and counseled the family.the family is now staying in peace.
