Education is the key to life and without it, one cannot secure an empolyment. There is presence of education in mathare and mostly pupils attend school with hope o later setting good paying jobs. Students and pupils struggle to go to school but the greatest challenge is school fees that is paid in the schools.The fee is high and cannot be affordable by average residents who struggles to even put food on the table. There are organizations that have come up in support of the children's ambition to pursue their education.They offer full and partial schorlarship to help the students learn because fee is a major problem.Although there is going on, the population is so high and there are still others who are going without education due to lack of school fee. The coming of a new baby to birth what made us who we are.In the year 2002 we chose the government of the people.Power was restored to the people . We dedicated our demands and desires. The roads were established and water was piped into our homes.The new era allowed for democracy though it was half but better the half than a full loaf.they could not go and discuss their salaries as it was us paying the tax, the taxpayers simply went on a strike and work on building the nation.
