ThinkCure!: New six-gene chips can determine a child's response to treatment by testing their blood or bone marrow. This lets doctors personalize treatment, resulting in more kids beating cancer.
Children who are facing a recent cancer diagnosis will benefit from these new gene-chips. Doctors can predict each child's response to treatment, which means that the kids have a higher likelihood of beating their cancer through the most effective treatment possible.
ThinkCure! funds research and treatment projects at City of Hope and Childrens Hospital LA that use advanced, collaborative techniques like these gene-chip technologies to predict how each patient will respond to different types of cancer treatment.
ThinkCure! Our aim is to find cures for cancers in our lifetime, and quickly. We want to continue to reduce the number of children who die of cancer, here in America and around the globe.
