Laying out the field
We had a team of volunteers from UCSD and Nourish International for over three weeks. The team worked on the soccer field, painted classrooms, trained and formed a soccer team and taught in classes. The playing ground was transformed in a week, from a grassy land to a perfect soccer field.
The team also donated football kits to more than 100 children, distributed toothbrushes and toothpastes and lots of resources to the new library.
The school now has approx. 240 students and a full fledged library and a computer lab- with more than 12 computers. We were also able to complete the water project. The project benefits more than 500 people around the school. Moreover, the school children are able to able to get fresh water from the source. The volunteer team also donated a water purifier jar that can filter dirty water into clean drinkable water.
Our future plans include: construction of a concrete building for future expansion; bigger soccer field and more trained teachers.

Let the games begin
