Luly Avellaneda - Leader of "Comunidad Organizada"

Luly was, and still is, one of the most important protagonists in the foundation's first gas project. A resident of the neighborhood herself, Luly stepped up to act as a leader in carrying out the project that successfully connected around 2,500 homes to the main gas line. She was the motivating force that brought together her community to work for better living conditions.

Raúl Francisco Zavalía Lagos - Executive Director

Raul was one of the founding members of Fundación Pro Vivienda Social and has been its executive director since 1992. He has dedicated his working life to improving the lives of residents in marginalized communities in the outskirts of his home town, Buenos Aires. Notably, he worked as schoolteacher in one of BA´s most notorious slums, Villa 31, helping its residents to form a housing cooperative.
