AKI supports Lilongwe SPCA's free vet clinics
Every Tues. LSPCA holds free vet clinics in poor suburban & rural areas. They are very popular! LSPCA vet & volunteers treat dogs, cats & other animals & educate people. AKI also supports the shelter.
Kitty at the Walvis Bay SPCA, Namibia
AKI supports Namibia's rural SPCAs. They need dog & cat food, blankets, beds, meds, funds for spay/neuter & other vet care. They have very few options for fundraising within their towns & in Namibia.
AKI supports Uganda SPCA community spay/neuter
USPCA held a spay/neuter campaign in Bukoto, part of Kampala. AKI provided funds. These 2 dogs were brought to the USPCA shelter & after surgery, returned to their home.
AKI supports TAWESO donkey program
TAWESO treats donkeys, supplies harnesses & educates donkey owners & local politicians about donkey welfare. They show donkey owners how to make low cost harnesses. AKI is proud to support this work.
AKI supports GSPCA & Ghana's horses
Many horses are abandoned & left on the streets in Accra, Ghana. They are under-nourished, have worms, and sometimes serious wounds. AKI has been supporting efforts to provide care for the horses.
AKI supports Kingston Community Animal Welfare
Deborah runs KCAW & feeds, sterilizes & provides other vet care for Kingston, Jamaica's street dogs & cats. Boysie is one of the people who help her out by watching out for dogs & cats on the streets.
AKI supports Save the Animals-Armenia shelter
This is the only shelter in Armenia (the only one that deserves the title, shelter). AKI provides food, has funded construction of roofs & drainage. We also support SAA to do community spay/neuter.
