500 at-risk youth in Washington will improve their self-esteem, fitness, and outlook by learning parkour - the art of overcoming physical and mental obstacles - in a safe environment.
Across the Seattle/Tacoma area, at-risk and homeless young people struggle with physical and mental obstacles. Although many programs provide for basic needs like food and shelter, Parkour Visions is one of the only organizations in the area that offers at-risk youth targeted ways to develop physical and mental fitness and to effectively cope with fear. With more space, we can reach more people in need.
We are securing and building out a larger facility where more at-risk youth in the Seattle-Tacoma area can come to learn physical and mental fitness, build self-esteem, and equip themselves for the obstacles they’ll encounter in life.
A nonprofit parkour gym provides a safe place for people from all socioeconomic backgrounds to come together to overcome physical and mental obstacles, forging mindsets and relationships that will change outlooks for a lifetime.
