FLOODS 2013 in Hyderabad, Thatta & Sukkur
According to data displayed by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) the flood-2013 affected 505,299 persons in the Sindh province, mostly those living in the kacha areas. The official data shows the crops standing on 246,195 acres of land have been destroyed. Similarly 11,392 houses were damaged completely in the 2913 villages.
However, the AHD team visited Hyderabad & Thatta districts Katcha areas and visited various colonies and houses submerged in flood water. The river Indus water entered in to villages and areas nearby river Indus.
AHD team reached the people in remote villages and saw the flood affected families situation and what they needed during emergency time.
AHD wants to support flood victims and we needs your all cooperation and support to provide food, medicine and shelter to maximum families during incoming emergency
