Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD)

Association for Humanitarian Development is a Social communities Based organization, established in December 2001-2002 and Registered under the Societies Registration Act: XX1 of 1860 on 17 May 2003. Priority Program of AHD is Safe Drinking Water.

AHD team working in surrounding 8 Village of Matli areas for purpose of safe drinking water. AHD team research that the villagers are using Hand pump and Canal Water. Canal water and Hand pump water was very dangerous of their life .They are suffered with different water born disease.  They complained of Diarrhea, skin disease, Vomiting, and sometimes even bloody stools.

Methodology:

AHD staff conducts the meeting with communities of 8 villages and get them awareness of safe drinking water and introduce of Nadi Filter Units.

Detail of Activities:

Month of March and April AHD staff conduct the Training work shop of 8 Village of Matli Area. And distribute of 42 Nadi filter units for installation of Nadi filter. Almost 305 people trained about the installation of Bio Sand Nadi filter

Challenges: We faced difficulties about the logistic issues to send the material in the village.

Indicator: 305 male and female people are trained installation nadi filter.

Output: 305 people trained installation nadi filter and we get snaps
