We are wishing and sending Happy New Year 2013 greetings to our Donors, friends and wellwishers round the world through the River Fund and GlobalGiving.
I am very happy to see you again and to submit a quarterly report on “little HEARTS orphanage” children and their development and all round performance with your kind support through the River Fund and GlobalGiving.
All the children at “little HEARTS orphanage” are doing very fine with good health and sound mind. As I said in my previous reports, not only just feeding children with nutritious food but still my main focus is education. Almost of all the children are getting ranks in their school with grade “A”. We have 3 regular tutors to teach all the subjects. Tutors come at 5 PM and make class wise groups and teach until 7:30PM regularly. We are now satisfied with their performance in education by getting grade “A” in all subjects. Taking time to bear fruit.
3 boys and 2 girls are selected for games to play at state level. Few children only get this opportunity to participate state level sports competetion for school children.
We bought new clothes for Christmas and New Year to all the children. Once in a month we take children for outing to play their favourate games and once in a week children go to near-by Police Parade Ground or Darga (where open Mosque is located) to play and to renew their minds. Mental health is also very important along with physical health. They have given lot of freedom to choose their food, clothes and education.
In the months August and September our children suffered very much for water. More than 90 years old well dried due to lack of sufficient rains this year. To over come from this problem we need a bore well. When I sent a request letter for financial support to dig a well in front of “little HEARTS orphanage” to Mr.Alex, Chairman of the Right Now Foundation, U.K. he immediately agreed and payed Rs.39,000. With their Rupees 39,000 we have added Rs.5,000 from little hearts money, now no more problems for water any more! Thank you Mr.Alex.
Mr.Srikanth Dabbiru, from Singapore, who has been supporting “little HEARTS orphanage” through GG recently sent me an introduction letter and expressed his interest and happiness about children and also promised continuous support whenever possible to him through GG. As he promised in the letter, he sent 500USD to GG, thank you Mr.Srikanth Dabbiru.
Recently we have received 4000 USD ( Indian Rupees 2,17,777) from the River Fund for monthly running costs of the “little HEARTS orphanage”.
