How cool is this? I travelled to India and got to spend the day at the Dazzling Stone Orphanage in Chennai India, that you supported with your donation through GlobalGiving. We spent the day with 100 children from ages 2 to 18 and were entertained by their songs and skits in Hindi, French and English. The children of middle and high school age were taking their exams so that they can progress to the next level in the government schools. Dazzling Stone is doing a wonderful job of giving these children love, education and a place to belong. The facilities were sparse but clean with very good (by India standards) sanitation and access to clean water. Danna and his family are fundraising now to add facilities for more children.
I am enclosing a few pictures, a link to a short video of the children and if you want to check out more about the project follow the link.
Thanks for your support—the children are thriving thanks to you.
