Kathy Korge Albergate - President, The Red Thread Promise

Kathy has been working with children since her teens, beginning as a Big Sister, and has never looked back. Over the past 30 years, she has partnered with various non-profits and traveled to many countries helping the littlest ones. In 2003, she co-founded The Red Thread Promise and continues to serve children in China, Haiti and the US as President of the organization and an avid volunteer.

Sonya Yencer - Vice President, The Red Thread Promise

Sonya has a huge heart for children and has been involved in The Red Thread since 2003; first as a volunteer, then Communications Manager, board member and finally as Vice President. Having numerous adopted family members and friends with adopted children, she celebrates their place in her life which fuels her desire to work with orphans and those who have no one to advocate for them.
