Map of Production of Food The government has come up with some of the method of land reclamation and rehabilitation of land in kenya.This methods include irrigation,drainage of swamps,application of manure,controls of pests,afforestation and refforestation and filling up of quarries.In this the production of crops which take the shortest time possible to be ready.This is the one way it have come up to solve food shortage in our country.Also this scheme has created employment for many has increased food production.Further more some crops from the schemes are exported,hence earning foreign exchange e.g horticultural crops also irrigation farming has also facilitated the development of infrastructure and social amenities.
