Soil Conservation

Map of SOIL CONSERVATION The earth crust is covered with soil. Then top soil is most valuable resources which most of plants nutrients orgami matter and soil organism are found. Soil is covered by vegetation protecting from deterioration. Mans activities such as deforestation and destruction of natural grass can cause soil erosion. When soil erosion occurs the crushed away one is deposited in separate they are not wanted. To prevent soil erosion expert in soil management introduced methods of soil conservation eg. building of terraces, building gabions, mulching cropping systems and many others. when the people of Kisumu put all this into practice all their all their soil was conserved. Map of ENVIRONMENT Change of climate may affect human survival. these changes may be caused by human activities. Deforestation is an activity which leaves the soil exposed. This contributes to soil erosion. Soil erosion does away with top soil which in turn leads to low yields to the farmers. Kenya meteorological department has been advising people on how to conserve the soil in order to improve production. Read more.
