Twesigye Jackson Kaguri - Founder and Executive Director

Twesigye Jackson Kaguri is a native of Uganda. Coming to the United States in the 90s as a visiting scholar studying Human Rights Advocacy at Columbia University, he has been actively involved with nonprofit organizations since 1992. Kaguri currently serves as the Executive Director of the Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project which takes a holistic approach to combating pervasive poverty.

Tashmica Torok - Executive Assistant

Tashmica Torok is an entrepreneur, freelance writer and social justice advocate. Prior to her position as the Executive Assistant at the Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project, she performed all marketing and public relations for Heritage Flooring, including community outreach, social media strategies and the writing of the "Completely Floored" blog.

Kelly Voss - Development Director

Brings over 5 years of non-profit fundraising experience to the organization. Has successfully raised millions of dollars for youth, the poor, the arts, people with disabilities, and sports organizations. Main role at Nyaka is to significantly increase the support dollars raised annually for our children and grandmothers' sake!
