Billions of people are affected by global poverty. Developing communities have opportunities to dramatically improve their quality of life but lack the necessary resources. United States college students are rich in resources, interested in cross-cultural work, and passionate about creating social change, but often lack a platform for action. Nourish bridges this gap and equips student leaders with skills in cross-cultural entrepreneurship and experience in community development
The Nourish National Office is responsible for supporting its students and scaling this movement. Students receive training during our Summer Institute, yearlong support, and continued communication while abroad on projects.
Total Funding Received to Date: $5,685
Remaining Goal to be Funded: $44,315
Total Funding Goal: $50,000
This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
Nourish International equips students with the skills needed to become agents of social change. Their experiences working abroad develop their leadership capacity and prepare them to do high-impact work across cultures.
“The lessons students are learning on Nourish Projects are things it took me years of professional experience to learn.”
