Abandoned Children

Map of ABANDONED CHILDREN It is good that street families Rehabilitation Trust Fund which deals with street children and the children's home that cater for abandoned children ,children have been removed from the streets and placed in schools rehabilitation Centers and in employment for this children.This has helped so much and now you find in most towns children are not the streets anymore,it is being reduced. Disability Is Not Inability

Map of disability is not inability An organization by the name Nairobi Family Support Service.This is an organisation that helps the disabled children in the community.A community service is given to the people living in the slums area.They go sensitizing parents and families on how to deal with their disabled children.Some parents tend to hide their disabled children indoor s thinking that it is a curse the organization helps to make the parents realise that the children whether able or disabled are a gift from God.Medics from Kenyatta National Hospital come to help the families they help in teaching the parents on the physical therapy giving to their children different medications.Thereafter the children are given sponsorship to the children educational sponsorship is offered to those children that go to school. Street Children

Map of street children Most of children are orphans for one reson or the other the children live with their gurdians and relatives who mistreat them and they end up running away from home to the street which they consider best.In the street they frustrate people creating insecurity however the government of Kenya has an effort of providing home for the homeless they were provided with home education and some were taken to collages.Today the number of street children has reduced and most of them are working and have their families. Child Prostitution

Map of Child prostitution There are many girls whose parents has died.They went to prostitution to earn their living. Thanks to Nancy and magdalen who went to kisumu and established a home, which she turned into an orphanage.She started helping widows,orphans and street children.Some of the orphans were marked as crisis children because they had no parents or relatives capable of taking care of them.Other were from abusive homes.the number of children under their care increased to 100 and it became difficult to cope since they wanted to cater for widows well. Wife Battery

Map of wife Battery Wife battery and other forms of violence are on the rise. the western parts of Kenya. Many family break ups are caused by minor issues which arise in families. May couples do not know how to solve such issues arising. Their is need to train newly married couple on how to live in a better life together. Children are sometimes dragged into these issues and remain the most vunerable. Sex education and marital circumstances surrounding many individuals take up responsibilities in the societies such as church leaders and community leaders. Read more.
