Project begins next week!

To all of our wonderful Donors,

The project team with students from Cornell University and Arizona State University is leaving next week for Nicaragua to work with the community to develop a bamboo reforestation program in Rosita, Nicaragua to provide locals with a sustainable raw material for affordable housing and a source of income for local farmers. If you are interested in following our project this summer as we work in Nicaragua, you may do so at this link: http://nourishinternational.org/blog/.  We will be continually posting blogs about our experiences living and working with the community. Our project page will be taken off of Global Giving at the beginning of June when we make our final donation to the community. If you are interested in making a final donation your support would be greatly appreciated in the next two weeks.

Thank you for helping us engage students, empower communities, and eradicate poverty.

Sincerely,

Nourish International

Pre-Departure Update

To all of our wonderful Donors,

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in support of ASU and Cornell Nourish International’s project Bamboo Forest Development in Nicaragua.

The project team with students from Arizona State University and Cornell University is gearing up to travel to Nicaragua and work with local farmers. The students have been preparing their travel arrangements, reading up on Nicaraguan history and culture, practicing Spanish, and leaning about bamboo reforestation techniques. Your support for this project is greatly appreciated. Stay tuned for more updates!

Thank you for helping us engage students, empower communities, and eradicate poverty.

Sincerely,

Nourish International
