Firstly, we would to start our project report by saying thank you again, to those of you who donated generously and selflessly. As you know, your money will be directly benefiting 320 children in need, through the construction of a new elementary school. This and all the reports to follow will update you periodically on our progress and your donation money at work here in the Dominican Republic.
As you can see from our photos, we are in the initial stages of construction. Specifically, we are engaged in the following:
- Creating a geographical study of the area.
- Drawing up designs for the following: the sanitation system, electricity system and the building structures themselves.
- Clearing the vegetation (80% completed) and leveling the site's topography (80% completed).
In the upcoming months, we plan to keep you updated! If you have any comments, advice or questions, please feel free to direct them our way and we will try to answer them as best we can. Thanks again for your patronage!
