Namaste!
News arrives from Nepal with many highs and lows... but all with many thanks and well wishes to all our supporters.
The arrival of a new baby brings great joy to the New Home for Orphan children. Man and his wife, Kamala, have brought a new baby into the world. We are all ecstatic about this new little addition.
In news that bring us great sadness, one of the smallest orphans, Ashish (age 9), has fallen ill and is in great need of funds to help pay his medical bills. He has been found to have epilepsy and struggles daily without the proper medication. Please keep his health in your prayers.
The orphanage and the widows group are working fervently towards sustainability, now more than ever. They hope to soon ship their handicrafts to America to help generate profit, which will in turn provide more training and equipment for the widows.
On to better news... the children are finishing up their exams and will have time off soon for a few weeks before starting the new semester. They are always excited to hear news from America and other countries around the world where people are thinking of them.
All our love!
Sarah
