New Community for Children believes that excellent educational opportunities are essential to helping families break out of the poverty cycle. We currently work with over 300 youth ages 5-20 from all over of DC.
We offer creative, hands-on learning in our after school program, and advocate for healthy families and challenging schools.
Our project will offer opportunities for 300 kids, age 5-20, throughout the school year to strengthen their academic skills, find expression through art, engage in recreational activities and build a positive self-esteem during out of school hours.
