It is now very unbearable! For the last two weeks we have had a lot of stress because of moving up and down looking for someone to come up atleast with some food - atleast maize and beans. The country is very dry and food prices have gone up with unimaginable prices. But the beauty part of this is that all children as at the Centre and they have agreed to share whatever they are given. We managed t get 20kgs of maize and 5kgs of beans on Friday the 2nd. And because we have to cook immediately, all children patiently waiting and even helped to look for firewood! When this food was ready to eat, all childfen requested that we all pray for God to open his heavens for WATER (THE RAIN). God is faithful! You cant believe it, but we had good rain (very good rain) on Saturday the 3rd! When we assembled on Sunday, we resolved that we shall keep on praying for the rain, that we shall stand in the GAP so that we pray for the rain, because if it rains, maybe prices will drop down and we might get assistance.
The other problem which will face us is desgruction of our books! Kids were asking where they will keep the books when it will start raining, wince our library is built of old iron-sheets and when it rains heavily - It will be a disaster. But I keep giving them hope that one day we shall get somebody who will build for us - and that is he hope at the centre.
All in all, we have hope that God will talk to someone over there who will cme to the rescue of this centre.
