International Medical Corps is securing emergency supplies, including medicines, blankets, water purification tablets, and hygiene kits and has identified local partners for distribution.
Victims of the cyclone have been without food, water, shelter and other basics needs. International Medical Corps is working to address these needs and prevent the spread of waterborne and diarrheal diseases and infections that can result from exposure.
IMC will help address urgent health needs as well as distribute medical supplies, water purification tablets, sanitation items and hygiene kits in order to reduce the spread of disease.
Help provide urgent heath needs and relief to the victims. IMC is also exploring potential local partnerships to maximize relief efforts.
The magnitude of this disaster demands immediate and massive humanitarian assistance for the people of Myanmar. Each hour that passes can literally mean the difference between life and death.
