Uplifting Teen Mothers in Kenya

I am a teenage mother and we go through such a hard time in my community because they see us as girls who made the greatest mistakes on earth. Some do not even remember that we are all human beings prone to mistakes. But i was impressed by one orgainization called GEMINI that came to our community specifically for the teenage mothers. They taught so much, counselled us. We had a round table where each one of us told their experience . We also discussed the possible solutions to our problems. We had mothers who were once teenage mothers before and they told us how they made through. We had a good time with them. They gave us free t-shirts. Personally, i felt so encouraged afterwards and i am sure the others were too.
