Summary
We teach dalit female youths on Modern Dress Making and Embroidery Training through our institutes and find them jobs through partner’s organizations to prevent remigration unemployment porblem.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
India is a young nation with 70 percent of 700 million people being below 35 years of age lack of Skill Training facilities in rural areas. Majority of the dalit youths are first generation learners. Their family background is not allowed to higher skill training. This project provide employment opportunities and a chance for better life and become self reliant.
How will this project solve this problem?
EDUCATR trained Modern dress making and Embroidery skills for dalit female youths, to actuate their training. The trainees generating income neighbour trainees.
Potential Long Term Impact
The goal is replicable model of the training Institute with a view to being able to support themselves, thus ensuring their participation in the economy.
