Summary
Mobile Clinic will be assisting the Family Hospital in their effort to improve health care in poorest district in Ulaanbaatar and its surrounding areas.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The city of Ulaanbaatar, as an autonomous region, is divided into 9 districts and 120 sub-district the smallest administrative division. In most districts of the Ulaanbaatar, ger area residents make up more than half of the population. Transportation cost in ger district is too expensive and far. Living condition is poor.
Hard for them go to family hospital to their monthly checkup for their kids because of the transportation cost and distance of living place.
How will this project solve this problem?
Mobile Clinic will provide medical service to those whom are living in far distance. Also provide transportation if its needed to transfer home to family hospital.

To contribute MDG #4 Reduce child mortality and MDG #5 Improve maternal health

I had opportunity to participate mobile clinic project last year. It was unique experience for me to see clinical service in Mongolia and opportunity to help people whom are in unprivileged.
