Midday Meal Program will address the issue of malnutrition amongst schoolchildren in India by providing hot cooked and nutritious meals to government schoolchildren every school day.
About a quarter of total population of India consists of children aged 6-14 years.Children who suffer from hunger do not have the same potential for learning as healthy and well nourished children.Poor nutrition among school aged children will diminish their cognitive development either through physical changes or by reducing their ability to participate in learning or both. This program will help them in performing better in education by serving hot cooked and nutritious meals to them at schools
We provide hot cooked and nutritious noon meals to children attending government schools across India.
The long term effect of this program is to reduce the levels of malnutrition among schoolchildren in India and improve their learning abilities. We are serving more than a million children with nutritious meals every school day across India.
