Alka Subramanian - Project Leader

Alka Subramanian is the ED/Founder of the Power of Love Foundation. Alka has been working in the area of HIV/AIDS for the last 7 years and has traveled to India and Africa to work with grassroots projects there. She evaluates and manages partnerships with grassroots organizations supported by the Foundation. She is a regular speaker on Power of Love's work in the area of HIV/AIDS and Malaria.

Esther Carol Shumba - Micro Finance Trainer

Esther completed her secondary school education in 1989 and at present is taking classes to graduate from High School. She has spent several years providing psychosocial counseling to street children, orphans and vulnerable children, and abused children. At present she is the Micro Finance Officer with Power of Love's program in Lusaka, Zambia. She supervises loans and monitors the businesses.

Patricia Mwale - Micro Finance Co-ordinator

Patricia Mwale co-ordinates the micro loans program in Lusaka, Zambia. She graduated from NIPA in 2000 with an Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD). Since, June 2008 to date she working with the Power of Love program in Lusaka, Zambia as Accountant and co-ordinator of programs. Her responsibilities include: Payroll, Bank reconciliation, Filling, Petty Cash Management etc.
