Help start a community-led micro-credit fund that enables struggling Haitians to take out affordable loans and start micro-enterprises.
In Haiti, small businesses are the heart of success, especially for women. Your gift will provide the capital they need to invest in their future, make sustainable incomes, and send their children to school. The micro-credit fund will: a) Enable 40 women in the organization to borrow a minimum of $69 each to start or expand a micro-enterprise b) Strengthen the organization’s capacity to manage such project c) Create greater solidarity within members of the organization
Help the Ba Rivye Mansel Peasant Association (AGPBRM) launch a micro-credit fund. Provide management training so they can run the micro-credit fund themselves. Provide loans to 40 women to start or expand small micro-enterprises.
With income from these small businesses, 40 families will become self-sufficient.
