Elizabeth Young - Founding Director
Elizabeth Young was born in Las Vegas, graduated from UC Berkeley, worked 13 years on the front lines of the war on poverty as a director for nonprofits working to reduce poverty and develop self-reliance, spent 6 years making educational toys and in 2007 became an accidental pigeon rescuer. She has since adopted 7 pigeons & a dove and found homes for more than 500 others. She resides in SF.
Cheryl L. Dickinson - Advisory Committee Chair
Native of SF, resident of Pacifica; a business professional for 30 years in Telecommunications and Real Estate industries; Real Estate Investment Accounting Manager for a Swedish pension fund since 1991.Cheryl is an avid animal lover and activist and enjoys spending her time with dog, cats and pigeons as well as out in nature. In 2007, Cheryl found a king pigeon and became a MickaCoo volunteer.
Clare Malone Prichard - Advisory Committee Member
Licensed architect working in Palo Alto. Strives to use her skills to benefit her community, serving on the City of Palo Alto's Architectural Review Board and also volunteering. Clare and her husband rescued a baby feral pigeon and discovered how intelligent and affectionate pigeons can be. They have since adopted two additional pigeons as pets and maintain an outdoor foster aviary.
