Emilienne de León - Executive Director

Emilienne joined Semillas in 2000. She has worked as a consultant to NGOs in Mexico for more than 15 years. She is on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Funding Network, the International Network of Women’s Funds, and is a member of Mexico’s Network of Civil Society Researchers. Emilienne holds a BA in International Relations and is fluent in Spanish, English and French.

María del Carmen Morales - Seed Grant Program Coordinator

Carmen has worked in the non-profit sector since 1985. She is an expert consultant in organizational development and has extensive experience in capacity building and market research for women’s grassroots and economic sustainability projects. Carmen holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and has been with Semillas since 2000.
