Andean Health and Development would like to thank you and all our donors for contributing medical supplies to treat kids in rural Ecuador.
We still have a long way to go in stock Hospital Pedro Vicente Maldonado, but thanks to YOU we have already provided the following to indigent patients:
2000 thermometers for children's physical exams
6 air casts for kids with broken bones
9 pacifiers to premature babies born at the hospital
Unfortunately, many other hospitals and clinics in Ecuador turn people away unless they bring THEIR OWN medical supplies. AHD provides all necessary supplies, tests, and meds, and practices the highest standards of medicine. All hospital staff is local and doctors are trained through AHD's Physician Residency Program.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this project on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you so much for changing the way medicine is delivered in Ecuador's countryside.
Gratefully,
Laura Dries
