Vulnerable persons in rural Cameroon are unable to afford a good meal a day, children, especially girls are subjected to varying forms of abuse -physical, sexual, and emotional.
Despite the enormity of the challenges that the vulnerable face, Nascent believes that supporting one child at a time is the first step in a journey of a thousand miles. Thus we begin by providing our beneficiaries with basic needs such as food, hygiene needs, clothing and educational support for children.
In the long-term , Nascent works with groups of target beneficiaries to develop sustainable livelihood programs, provides and provides them with training and seed funding to initiate and grow a business that can support them.
