My name is Emmanuel Simiyu.i learn in a wonderful school called highway ECDE centre which has helped me in many ways.i joined the school in 2009 having no ability at all to speak in either English or Kiswahili.i did not know how to read or write either.the school is doing the best it can to connect many children to become hopeful about their future. I dream and sing about becoming a news broadcaster and with the motivation I get from teachers since joining it,i have a great desire to develop and become successful in life.

It was on a monday morning where i woke up at the crack of dawn.I went and opened my window the birds of the air were singing there sweet melodes while preaching on the acacia tree.I first went and took a warm bubbling shower which made me as cool as a cucumber.I went to my cubical and wore my clean ironed uniform.I went and took my break first then i bid my mother goodbye.I went to school hurrdly.No-sooner had i took a step than i has some noise coming from the school gate students were complaining about the paren'ts not paying for the tution.The teachers and the headteacher came and settled the matter.The teacher's called a meeting and the parents were talked to and they changed.From that do they started paying tution.
