This project will provide life skills education to create new jobs and giving revolving venture capital for 250 families of earthquake and tsunami victims which until now still living in bakoy refugee barracks Aceh Besar.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Until now, there are still 250 families of the earthquake and tsunami victims are still living in refugee barracks Bakoy village Aceh Besar. They last lived in refugee barrack because they do not get help with housing from the government. Their condition is very alarming because generally they do not have a permanent job, while food aid from the government and NGOs is not there anymore.
How will this project solve this problem?
This project provides skills training and giving revolving venture capital assistance, so that they can create or opening new business or becoming an employee with the skills they have.
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will provide life skills education to 250 families of the earthquake and tsunami victims that still live in refugee barracks in bakoy village Aceh Besar. This project also give revolving venture capital, so that they can create or open new business or becoming an employee with the skills they have allowing them to rise out of poverty, which will provide for their families' health and well-being.
Project Message
When the tsunami devastated Aceh in 2004, I lost everything, property, my family has been lost, and also my livelihood destroyed. This program will greatly assist us in continuing this life.
