Edem Kosi Richard Adjordor - Country Director and Co-founder

Edem Kosi Richard Adjordor, 32, co founded HardtHaven Children's Home in 2007. Edem is a native of Kpando, Ghana and spent his childhood in both the capital city of Ghana, Accra and Kpando. He graduated from Senior Secondary School and went on to attend Teaching Training College. From a young age Edem has been activive in community strengthening organizations and has always been a forward thinker.

Sonjelle Shilton - U.S Director of Operations

Sonjelle Shilton is 27. She grew up in New Jersey and first traveled to Ghana in 2007, after she graduated from college, where she volunteered at HardtHaven Children's Home shortly after it opened it's doors. She was so impressed by the vision of the home that she returned to Ghana in January 2008 to work as the country administrator until July 2009. She spends about half of her year in Ghana.
