Rural dwellers have no access to qualitative education and Internet. They are deprived of educational materials (books) and access to computer with internet access, which makes them lack the required knowledge their counterparts in the urban areas possessed. CTDI is to setup library equipped with materials and computers with internet access. The young people in this region will be trained on how to operate computer and use the internet. They will be expose to digital/global world.
In Nigeria, majority lives in the rural areas in which they lack basic amenities and infrastructures. They have no access to educational materials such as books, internet access and electricity. Poverty protrude in this region since they cannot have the required job skills their counterparts in the urban centers have access to. This create youth menace in the community.The youths in this community will be the major beneficiaries and the unskilled graduates in the community.
Capacity building and training will be provided for the youths.In this regards,they will acquire the knowledge their counterparts in the urban areas possess. Internet access will be provided in which they will have access to search for information and study materials.This will bridge the digital divide between the rural and urban dwellers.This will also creates equilibrium in knowledge and job skill nationwide, which will subsequently reduce and erase youth menace in the community.
This project will have significant effect in generations.It will creates literacy in many generations. Anyone that acquires this knowledge will definitely transfer it to his/her off-springs. The beneficiaries will be equipped with digital knowledge and expose them to global development. This project will make them mentally upright and psychologically balanced. This will erase economic malnutrition and atrophy. It will erase and eradicates youth menace in the community.15, 000 people will benefit
