Pass Love Charity Foundation joined GlobalGiving at the beginning of November 2012 during the Winter Open Challenge.  At the time, we set a financial goal for the campaign of $15,000. As of today, over 100 donations have been received on totaling $10,125!  We would like to extend our gratitude to all donors for your generous support.

As I write this report, our field team is on their way to Zhong Zi Ping Primary School in Mabian Yi Autonomous County in Sichuan Province to establish a Dandelion Village Library. The school is located 800 meters above sea level in a remote mountainous area, where the annual income for all local families is zero; farming is the only source of livelihood. Zhong Zi Ping Primary School currently has total of 92 students from first to third grade and 3 teachers, all of Yi ethnicity. Due to poverty and its remote location, the school lacks basic educational resources not to mention developmentally appropriate reading materials. With your help, Zhong Zi Ping Primary School will soon have a Dandelion Village Library; where both students and teachers can enjoy high quality books. We will return shortly to report on our progress.

This is an on-going effort. Your donations on GlobalGiving will make an enormous contribution towards sustaining Dandelion Village Libraries over the coming months and years.  Again, thank you for your faithful support!
