Summary
LFPP provides peace education and for groups of inner-city youth & families; leadership training for youth; and ongoing workshops for interested groups & targeted populations.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
All are welcomed to grow within our community of peace through education, recreation, and conversation activities. Specific populations like teachers, students and church groups are also targeted to maximize our peaceful impact.
How will this project solve this problem?
Multi-modal experiential education includes cooperative games; creative & dramatic arts; environmental stewardship through gardening, animal care, hiking, & a bike shop; & conversation spaces including a library.
Potential Long Term Impact
We create a network of empowered youth, families, and professionals through systemic peace education to improve our human community by spreading a culture of peace.
Project Message
Violence is counteracted and community is built by learning peace at an early age and practicing it at every age.
