Abuse can take many forms such as neglecting, physical and emotional maltreat, sexual abuse and exploitation. We are raising money to continue providing child care, psychiatric and psychological treatment to our children.
Puerto Rico's Department of Family statistics from 2009 show that there about 53,000 children abuse cases reported that year. Abuse can take many forms such as neglecting, physical and emotional maltreat, sexual abuse and exploitation. Abused children often enter a cycle pattern of abuse become abusers of maltreated.
Our goals are to create a safe and caring environment for our children providing all basic needs while nurturing Christian and moral values in order to contribute to develop integral human beings and good citizens. We also provide them with all necessary psychiatric and psychological treatment in order to help them to develop tools to deal with their life experiences and broke the abuse circle, avoiding the victim to become the victimizer.
