CHF is distributing emergency relief items—such as food, shelter, and medical supplies—and establishing hygienic sanitary systems to urgently assist thousands living in camps around the country.
More than 800,000 people in Lebanon are without adequate food and shelter. As the humanitarian crisis rapidly escalates and violence continues to take hold, thousands of families—displaced from their homes and villages—are in desperate need of your help. With more than 11 years of experience working in hundreds of communities throughout the country, CHF has close ties with the families we are helping. Nearly all of CHF's staff in country are Lebanese, many of whom are now themselves displaced.
Distributing food, medical supplies, and non-food items to refugee and displaced victims. Mitigating the risk of disease by establishing mobile bathroom facilities, and securing sufficient, clean, and safe drinking water.
Building on our long-term efforts, CHF is distributing relief commodities to IDPs housed in displacement centers and ensuring adequate water and sanitation conditions to limit the spread of disease and ensure the health of those displaced.
